7-22-09
Yesterday we didn't do anything! Most of the soldiers did maintenance which is being assigned to clean shit around base. I had to clean the barracks. So I buffed the floors and wrote Marlana a letter, and took a nap. lol. Some dumbass broke the control lever off the buffer so I asked the DS's if they had superglue or tape so I could fix it. A DS gave me some marking tape (not sticky, just thin stretchy plastic tape) a zip tie, and a sticky note and told me to McGyver it! They didn't think I could do it...but I did! :-) The DS's thought it was fuy as hell. So that was cool. I am so happy I got letters! I got more letters then anybody since they have been here. lol. And today I got another from Grandpa D. :-) So Ashley's wedding is Saturday...wish I could be there! Tell them I wish them the best and love them. I'm sure that will be a great day. I can't wait for my wedding! I'm ready to settle down and finally have the chance and ability to start my own family. I can't wait to be King! lol I'm not going to get the highest PT award because there's not a chance I can beat some of the guys here. But I'm trying hard to get the trailblazer award which a lot of people can get. I just have to do a good job and pass everything my first try. I had First Aid today...5 hour class and I do it until Saturday. Friday is the stick your battle buddy bullshit! I'm not to freaked out. It's gonna suck but I can't get out of it and it can't be as bad as the penicillin shot! So there's no reason to work myself up about it. I saw some crazy pictures today. lol It was pretty cool. But I learned how to do a lot , fix gun shots, stabs, collapsed lungs, all kinds of crap. This little shit...the guy who was supposed to write the essay keeps saying the GD word and it's pissing me off. I told him if I hear it again I'll put his face in the toilet and flush! Well I'm gonna go watch some retards slide canteens down the hall and try to hit each other in the nuts. I'll write more later. Love you. Ok, they stopped because the DS is up here. I can't wait to be done with this so I can see all of you. All my pens died except this one...can you send me better ones? Just make sure they don't shoot ink like this one! I can't write front to back cause it bleeds through. Not even a week and a half left of red phase!! Yay! 86 days until I so you. Actually 85 because of family day. :-) My blisters are getting better finally. I didn't have to wear mole skin and two pairs of socks today. Just mole skin and one pair. I'm gonna have to get a haircut soon. :-( I don't like being bald lol and I have to pay for it! It's bullshit. When I get paid I will let you know because I want you to get the money for Marlana's dress & I want you to pull extra out for Marlana's bills. I will tell you how much when I get paid. I've been putting deodorant on my blisters and I think that's what is helping them. I'm not supposed to be writing right now but I don't care. I can't wait to get new pictures. I got letters from Mom & Ashley yesterday. That was awesome! Yesterday was pretty laid back. We had class on First Aid and then did nothing. Then I had fire guard from 2 to 3am. When I was done cleaning I sat down in the hall and just talked to Hyson. A DS walked up the stairs and saw us and got all pissed. So we had to wake everybody up and toe the line. The DS said I was sleeping and Hyson was just sitting on his ass. And since there is no arguing with the DS I just had to go along with it. So everybody was pissed at me. Then I was pissed off and couldn't sleep. After I got like 30 minutes of sleep we all woke up and got ready for the day. We didn't have to do PT because we had the IV's today. So after getting up we went out to formation. In formation the DS that caught us sitting down told my DS..out loud...to ask me what happened last night. So I had to say I fell asleep on fire guard. My DS got pissed and said we were doing god and we were on the top of his happiness level but thanks to one we are now at the bottom. And he said...well I was going to let you all call home today but that's not happening. So I was FUCKING PISSED!!! Then we went to breakfast and instead of wearing our eye protection we had to wear these big gay goggles because somebody lost their eye protection. And we ate last so everybody was really happy with me. Then we went to the First Aid place and learned how to do IV's. When it came time to do them I was lucky and got partnered up with Greeno...the big dude I did combatives with. So that made me not as nervous But I had to get stuck first. It hurt lol. 14 guage needle!!! Big as hell. And when he put the catheter in a shit load of blood shot out all over my arm. But I didn't even feel like passing out. :-) I almost passed out when watching the demonstraution. Bt then I have Greeno his IV and did good! So we both passed and only got stuck once. After the IV's I was sitting out on picnic tables studying for a test I have tomorrow and two dumb fucks I was sittin close to...were talking about the guy who fell asleep and one said they should have a blanket party with him at night...that's the same thing as in Full Metal Jacket when they beat the dude up with soap in a sock. Well they didn't know I was sitting there. So me being me I said...Hey dumb shit. I'm the one who supposedly fell asleep so how about you try to fit me with a bar of soap so I can beat the shit out of you until a limb breaks off then I'll shove that up your friends ass. And the one who was saying shit said he was just kidding. I was like no your not you faggot you just didn't know I was sitting right here so next time you want to talk shit make sure nobodies around so you don't get yourself in a really shitty position. So he shut the hell up. :-) Later we got smoked...then got ready for bed. Since I screwed up me and everybody I had fire guard with get the last shift tonight which such as because tomorrow everybody gets to sleep in an extra hour!! And Howell..pussy bitch...said oh thanks Sean, So I ripped him a new ass hard he's been trying to apologize since. So all in all today sucked balls. Well and not getting any mail. :-( I still want some pictures. Lots and lots of pictures from everyone. Love you all, Sean

Well today has been ok. I had to do fire guard again so I got up at 3:45 instead of being lucky and sleeping till 5:30. Went to breakfast and had the same thing I have every morning, nasty eggs, waffles..correction I had french toast today, biscuit and gravy, and a peach. I've learned to get the biscuit with gravy on the side, then make a egg sausage biscuit with gravy! It's pretty good and I can eat it faster. After breakfast I went to the classroom to take the first aid test. It was pretty easy...well I know you would all fail but I took the class. lol. But I passed. After that we got field chow which sucked. Then practiced drill & ceremony. Which we did for a long time. After that we just cleaned the barracks and got smoked for a long ass time. Then went to lunch and got like 5 minutes to eat...gay. Then did PT...FOREVER! And then nothing. We toed the line and I farted really loud and everybody started laughing so the DS got kinda pissed. I still thought it was funny though. But we will probably get smoked tomorrow for it. Oh graduation is supposed to be Oct. 16th. I'm 90% sure! All my battle buddies said so & I'm not going to ask the DS...he would just tell me to figure it out. Well I'm tired & it's late...and I have to pee because you know it's always awesome to have to chug a canteen before bed. But I'm gonna pee then hit the hay. I love you all and can't wait to see you. Almost 82 days left! P.S. I'm sunburned and it blows!

Well I have been pretty busy lately! Yesterday we had land navigation so we went to class for like 4 hours. After class we marched to a land nav training course which of course was forever away! So we marched for 2 hours to get there in the BLAZING HEAT! When we got there we had a briefing and got a map, compass and coordinates. We went out into the woods an had to find locations. I have never seen so many big ass spiders! I walked into so many...and they weren't little pussy spiders! But I walked around in the woods for like 2.5 hours and was the third group done. I was in charge of the map, coordinates and pace counting. And I did pretty freaking good! Some groups got lost and took forever! We ended up leaving at 2100 (9pm) which is lights out so we had to take a bus back. So it was late when we got back. We got to sleep in until 5 but I had fire guard from 3-4 which is always gay! Then today I woke up and went to breakfast. I ate so much! It was amazing. Then we marched to an obstacle course which was awesome. We slid down a rope on our stomachs from 50 feet in the air, climbed a 40 foot ladder with the DS shaking it because he's a dick, climbed a big ass cargo net, and a lot of other stuff. When I was going down the rope on my stomache I yelled you gotta dish it to get the biscuit. My DS said it wasn't appropriate so my new name is Mr. Biscuit and everytime he says biscuit I have to do push-ups. But he still thought it was funny & I could care less. :-) But when we were almost done there was a tornado watch so we had to pack up and leave. Now I'm just chilling waiting to go practice D&C (drill and ceremony) because the competition is tomorrow and we have to win! Some dumb shit retard in my platoon who replaced Martin said he wants to quit. That pissed off my DS so he took his jacket off and said he is gonna quit too. First time I have seen him in a t-shirt & he is fuckin ripped!!! Crazy! lol. Well we got another DS. I don't know why. So the Mr. Biscuit kinda sucks. They were handing out mail and my DS said Mr. Biscuit so I went to the front of the room and started doing push-ups. I did a lot! It was gay. But I just kept telling myself it's worth it I got some mail. :-) When my DS told me to stop and go sit down I said I didn't get my mail. Then he said I didn't get any he just wanted to say biscuit..fucking gay! Now all the DS's are gonna do that to screw with me. We have been getting smoked for a while because people don't know how to fucking hurry up and the DS says we move as fast as swamp water. Pretty shitty! So tomorrow we have 10 minutes to make our beds, shave, brush teeth and get out for formation. Seems possible right? Well not for 63 guys with some slow bastards! So I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow. We are just screwed. Oh and earlier we had a little class on D&C and this guy I can't stand kept nodding off falling asleep. So I through my chapstick at him and told him to stand up so he doesn't fall asleep. Well he made a big freakin deal about it, interrupted the class and said I was just trying to make him have to stand...15 minutes later the DS caught him sleeping and smoked all of us! I was FUCKING PISSED! I told him if I wouldn't get into trouble I'd staple his eyelids to his fucking forehead. So he doesn't really like me. :-) I can't wait for white phase! That will be amazing! I start marksmanship shit this week which will be fun...except having to wear all my gear and bullet proof crap. 80 days left!! Then I can leave hells boundaries! I'm pretty sure hell is around here somewhere. It's hot enough! Just put up a barbwire fence, start a fire and call it hell! Well I love you all so much! It's bed time. I'll write tomorrow...I hope. I have to make this one short. It's 22:05 and I have a 5 mile run in the morning! :-( I had warrior tower today. It was freakin crazy. The wall was 50 ft. (It said it on the wall). The wall was called Pucker Palace haha. I was pretty scared at first but when I started doing it I had fun. The scariest part was the start...lowering off the wall. Tomorrow is white phase!! Today people got smoked for their own mistakes instead of everybody getting screwed. It was FUCKING AMAZING!! Put this on my blogspot cause people don't get it...Getting smoked...Being punished for any reason with extremely shitty/long excercises...and a shit load of push-ups. My friend David wrote me and said he didn't get what it meant. So I found two ticks on my legs today. My DS said I'm supposed to go to sick call to get them removed but I said that's not gonna happen so he didn't make me go. But he did give me pliers to take them off...he's not allowed too. Mom, Yes I still have blisters and I will go to sick call when we aren't doing anything because I will not...WILL NOT miss training! I am not about to have to stay here longer and not be able to see you all soon and get my ass hitched! So I will get it taken care of soon. Until then I will just wear two paris of socks and push though the paid. :-( Wedding stuff...rings, white gold fr sure! Honeymoon..Ocean!!! Graduation and family day...graduation is October 16th and Family Day is the 15th. I'm 92% sure lol. My DS says he doens't know because it's to far away and if I really need to know, figure it out myself somehow. But they will be sending the for sure dates to you soon. So for now plan for the 15th and 16th. Am I sick? I was, now I'm getting better. I just never have a voice because of cadences. Martin...is a dumb fuck and they sent him home or somewhere else. Other than that..I'm getting way stronger!! I need pictures! Please! And yes, that means my friends! I can never have enough. Thank you everyone who has been writing. I am so happy! lol I got mail and pictures. The pictures made my day! Ashleys wedding looked amazing. I am glad Ryan and Nard were there. And everybody looked great! So today we got up nice and early..4:15 and got ready by 4:30. Then we had our 5 mile battalion run. It was pretty rough but I made it . It sucked because all everybody could hear was footsteps and dog tags clanking so we couldn't hear the cadence. When we finished the company commander (a Captain) said he was pissed because we weren't motivated enough to sing the cadence. So that was shitty. Then we had field chow...which sucks, and we had it for breakfast and lunch. :-( Anyway we rode on buses to the range and learned al the safety crap for shooting on the range. After that...field chow. Then we went to a building that had huge tv screens on the walls. They took up the whole wall. And there were M-16's (it was a range simulator). The M-16's had recoil and everything was super realistic. We had to group 3 shots together then group 3 shots in a 4cm. target...from 25 meters. We got 6 tries. I grouped my shots everytime and zeroed the 4 cm. with all 3 on my 3rd try. I was pretty happy about that. :-) So that was a lot of fun. Then we just practices positioning and breathing all day. I can't wait for tomorrow. Shooting at the range all day!!! I found out the weapons I get trained on...M-16 of course, M-249 Saw, 40. calleber barreta, full automatic grenade launcher, anti-tank rocket launcher, and a scoped M-4. I'm excited. And the demo field is by the range...let me tell you, ther are some BIG BOOMS!!! :-) I have a PT test in the morning so I'm going to try and get some sleep. I love you all so so much!! Cant wait to see you. 76 days left!!!
