Today has been exhausting!! Got up early, did PT then went to breakfast. We only got about 10 minutes to get food & eat it. The food is pretty gross but I just mix it all up and eat it fast. Then we came back and got our gear. A combat helmet, bullet proof vest, lead bearing vest, backpacks with chemical gear & wet gear inside, 2 are quart canteens & a two quart canteen, and our guns. About 100lbs. of gear. Then we walked in the heat about 2 miles to a teamwork building course where we did some fun obstacles. At 12 we walked back to the chow hall for lunch. It was so hot the DS's made everybody squeeze in the chow hall to cool down, eat, and drink at least 5 cups of poweraid because we sweat so much. I sweat so much I get bumps all over my body called sweat bumps. We got smoked for so long because some new kid disrespected the DS! So gay! Well I still haven't gotten any mail. :-( But I will soon. I hope. Tomorrow we are doing combatives. I am pretty excited for that. My DS said that after graduation everybody's dicks will grow because 21B are hung. He said the difference between 21B and every other MOS is that they walk up, say Hi, then stick it in. 21B's stick it in, then say Hi. I thought that was pretty funny. So I didn't lock my locker all the way I just put the lock on it and didn't latch it & the DS checked the rooms and said whoever didn't lock their lock in my room has to write a 500 word essay of why they didn't. So I was pretty stressed. Then we came in the room and it was some other...dumb ass who didn't even have the lock on the locker. :-) I am so happy its not me!!! The guy who sleeps in the bunk under mine "Hyson" keeps making fun of the guy who has to write the essay because he is all pissed. Hyson said he would write the essay for $20, I said not to worry cause I have plenty of paper and pens and I said he could probably get the guy that sleeps in the bunk above him "Hughes" to write it if he gave him a blow job. lol So he's kinda pissed at us. lol It's so funny. We all give him shit so he is never in the room. That's why I don't know his name lol. Hyson says he will write the essay for free so he can write it about how the DS's suck dick and he won't get into trouble for it. lol It's funny after the DS said our dicks would grow he looked at Hyson (because he's so small) and said even you Hyson... I bet you can't wait. So I've been making fun of him for that and he keeps saying he's gonna kick my ass in combatives tomorrow. So that will be fun. lol We are all trying to plan shit to do in AIT when we get free time...but there is nothing out here! Well I'm gonna get like 30 minutes of sleep before I have to do fire guard. (Stand in the hallways and babysit/clean) until 12 so I will write you more tomorrow.

Today we woke up at 4:30 and did PT. We did push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups & a bunch of other crap. After PT we came back in the barracks. When we come back to the barracks we always have to clear our rifles for safety & this dumb ass fat kid who always gets us in trouble didn't. He just tried to walk in the building without clearing his gun and one of my battle buddies told him to clear his gun and he punched him in the face! I'm surprised he didn't get his ass kicked! But the DS was pissed!! So he is probably getting kicked out. We got smoked so bad today! In the mud and rocks! It sucked ass and took an hour. Everybody is giving me shit because all I do during free time is write letters lol. Everybody thinks I'm gonna get the most letters back then anyone which I am ok with. But I still haven't gotten any. :-( Tomorrow I get to go to the store thank god! I'm gonna get soap (body and laundry) socks, underwear, and probably some other crap. We did combatives today which was fun. I kicked my partners ass lol. All the DS's in my company are level 4 in combatives and the 1st sergeant used to be a pro mma guy until he got kicked out for breaking somebodies neck lol. All the DS's are crazy as hell. The kid who has to write a 500 word essay is trying to get me to do it because I'm always writing anyway. But I said I write letters not essays, my mom wrote all my essays and she's not here so your shit out of luck lol. But at least I offered him a pen and paper. :-) So I was kinda nice. The weather here is freakin crazy! At 8am it was SUPER hot, then at about 2pm it was dumping rain, thunder and lightening and there was a tornado warning so we all had to get inside, then it got hot as hell again and stayed that way. There is always thunder and lightening though. I HATE THIS STATE! GAYEST STATE IN THE U.S. Tomorrow I think we are doing victory tower...I know we are doing a confidence course but I think that's it. So that will be fun. Except having to march all the way there again with like 100lbs. of gear! That blows! Oh ya and there are some crazy ass bugs! A lot of june bugs! And huge bees!!! And I here there are a lot of snakes....mom lol and spiders....Marlana :-) And I'm certain there's stuff Dad wouldn't like. Ashley falls in the spider category with Marlana. :-) And ticks! We always have to check our battle buddy for ticks because they can kill you/make you really sick. My friend Looker is on fire guard and keeps trying to read my letter lol. This one. Well it's late and I'm tired so I will write again tomorrow. I can't wait to see all of you! I miss you all so much! Hopefully I'll get a letter soon. Send pictures please.

Well today we woke up early of course! Did PT...forever..lol. Then we went to breakfast. After breakfast we got all our gear on and marched to the obstacle course we went to a few days ago. I wore my winter boots because they don't hurt my blisters as bad since they are even worse then before! We did a personal physical training obstacle and at a point of that obstacle we had to low crawl through a big ass puddle that was a foot deep. So I was drenched! We also had to climb walls, cross single rope bridges, climb big ass nets, and climb up a rope like 30-40 feet. I climbed up the rope super fast and a lady video taped me for the Basic Training video. But anyways I was wet as hell and my winter boots don't have vents so they were puddles. And I didn't have extra socks! So that didn't help my blisters at all :-( We did a lot of cadences (marching and singing) so my voice is gone! Then we got to go to the PX to buy personal hygience stuff. So I got this pen. But I don't really like it. Too much ink comes out so it's hard to write clearly. There are three platoons in our company and mine is the best. The other two fucked around so much that they both started red phase over. So now they today was their first day! Sucks to be them! My DS is being a lot cooler because we are doing good. We don't get smoked as much thank god! Oh and the dumb fat kid who punched my friend...dumbass is Martin, called another battle buddy a nigger today. Well he said fuck off nigger...bad idea!...my DS is black. So he got smoked bad & an article 15 & a counseling. So he has to stay here and get smoked forever until they send him home. And I bet I will graduate before he gets home! Ha Ha! He really is the dumbest guy ever. Somebody pored a whole thing of sunscreen in his hat so after he got smoked he had to clean that! So he wasn't really having a good day. And all the DS's hate him so he is always getting smoked for everything! We also took our company pictures today. I ordered one. Don't need more than that. Tomorrow we are doing combative challenges between the platoons...and we are going to kick ass. Then Monday I have the gas chamber! I'm excited to die in there lol. The kid who has to write the essay tried to get me to write it for him and I said I would rather write my family so he gave up...he better not get us smoked! I have fire guard 12 to 1 tonight :-( That blows lol. My DS said mail is hard to get right now but when it starts coming in all the time they will hand it out everyday. So I bet I have a letter they just haven't got it lol. My DS is definitely the coolest of all the others though. He always dances around and brags about our platoon. When we march past other companies he makes us sing cadences talking shit about them saying they are weak and they should follow us because Echo's the leader of the infantry. It's fun though. good way to motivate . I needed hangers because I only had three and I asked a guy who had like 6 if I could have one and he said no because he needs them. So I bought some today and he asked if he could have some and I laughed and said I needed them. He is pissed because I have like 6 extra hangers now. :-) He can suck it! Today we did combatives. It was fun! Instead of just learning the moves we got to actually fight each other. I went against Greeno...abut 6'4" 250lbs! He made me tap out once because he got me in an arm bar. But I made him tap out 4 times! Two chokes and two arm bars. It was a lot of fun! We had a tournament between the 3 platoons and my DS said (Looker says Hi.) that whoever won would get a phone call home. But we lost. :-( Cow was so good today. Well its never really good, that good, but I ate a lot lol. So it was good. We have a D&C competition (drill & ceremony) in a few weeks so we are practicing. Whoever wins gets the company sword and since we are then Knights we HAVE to win. :-) My DS is being pretty cool. Now he is the only DS who actually talks to his platoon. Lke today we all circled around him and talked about what we need to work on and how much the other platoons suck. And he's always doing funny shit. lol. A few minutes ago we had to toe the line and there is a new kid who is kind of fat & when the DS saw him all he said was "Who the fuck are you & why is your stomach hanging over your shorts...do you drink beer?" It was funny! We are all telling jokes and picking on the guy who still hasn't written the essay. He is trying to tell a joke but it makes no sense. He keeps pausing to think. Fucking idiot. lol ne of my roommates got us smoked like three times today so we have been giving him shit all day. I guess I only get mail once a week. Well the DS's only get the mail maybe twice a week. So that's gay. lol. My room is a rough crew lol. And the guy who has to write the letter is a pussy. Everytime we get smoked he cries and prays out loud and shit, which gets us smoked worse! So we all make him the fag of every joke. lol But I don't know any jokes so I just listen and make fun of everybody. Ok lates funny joke...Howell (essay dude) If there was a hundred dicks poking out of a wall which one would you choke on? He said none. So...you must be a pro if you won't choke on any faggot. lol. Today we woke up at 4:30 and toed the line. We stood there for 30 minutes until 5 when a DS came over the intercom and said wake up. So we could have slept in but didn't. :-( All we have been doing is cleaning and waiting for church. Breakfast was pretty good but I wish I ate more! So the fat dump kid Martin has 3 article 15's now! First for hitting Hale, 2nd for the racial slur and now 3 for ripping his room mates shit off his locker and for telling him to get off his lazy ass and do something. He is such a dumb ass! One of my room mates is making fun of me because I am sitting in my locker writing this. Because I write a lot so I need a life. I just say this is my life. lol. I like writing letters! Well my throat is killing me and I lost my voiceand I was going to break a razor open to cut my mole skin (stuff for my blisters) and I cut my finger! So that sucks. I still haven't even been drug tested and I hear they don't test you at all during Basic & AIT. Which doesn't make much sense. lol. I am excited to do the gas chamber tomorrow! I'm hoping it will flush out my system and I won't be sick anymore! That would be nice. I hope you all are doing great & I love you all so much!

Well it's 1600 and I just got out of the shower. Woke up early 420, put all my/our combat gear on then ate field chow. Field chow is when they bring food to you. You don't get a say in what you get though they just slap it on your plate. After chow we went on a 3K march with our gear to the musium. This morning Martin (fat fuck) kicked a guy in my platoon Molo's stuff over so Molo told the DS. The DS made Martin go down to talk to him and he got another counseling. Whe he came up the stairs he passed Molo in the hall. Martin grabbed Molo's head, slammed it into the wall, which knocked him out, then kicked him a few times when he was down. Me and one of my battle buddies were right there so I tackled Martin into the wall and my battle buddy and I THROUGH his ass in a room. The DS came up and ripped him a new ass and me and my battle buddy had to fill out reports on him. So now he is getting UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) and might go to jail. But anyway, the march sucked but the musium was really cool! After the musium we went on a 6K march to the gas chamber. As we went into the chamber we got against the wall and my DS was cooling the CS gas like it was crack. It instantly started burning my neck, chest and hands! Which was not covered. They said lift yp your mask so we can see your nose then put the mask back on and clear it. When I got my mask back on and cleared my eyes and face started burning. Then we had to do jumping jacks. Then they said turn right, put your left hand on the person in front of you, take your mask off and hold it over your head, and yell what the best platoon is. I got my mask off and said 2nd platoon! Then I made the mistake of opening my eyes. It burned so bad I gasped for air...which really sucked! I started coughing and couldn't breath at all. It was the worst thing I have ever felt! Then I was yelling to open the door but the DS's were holding everybody back so they can't move. It felt like I was in there forever! When I came out my whole body felt like it was on fire and I couldn't breath! I ran around like a headless chicken on fire. lol. The only way I could explain how it felt is...take a shower in pepperspray or Dave's, put it in your eyes, drink it, put it in your nose and try to breathe...it fucking sucked! By far the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life. And then I did it again! A guy in my platoon...the biggest guy...6'6" 270lbs black guy was scared to do it so I went again with him. So it really sucked!!! And marching back it would come off everybodys ACU's and it felt just like being in the chamber! But we marched 3K back and took showers..which was great. Then I went to chow and had sweet & sour pork chops. They were good but not like dad makes them! My DS just kicked Martin out and put him in 3rd platoon but we had to trade for their biggest retard. Who has a fat cut on his head because he slammed his head into the wall just because and he can't do a single push-up! So if he gets us smoked he is screwed. I hope I get letters tonight!! We should because we kick ass. Our platoon is the best so we get to carry the face banner (company banner) and we always eat first. It is awesome! And we never get smoked anymore! Well not never but not near as much as the other platoons. 3rd is getting smoked right now! We are just chillin :-). Today I ordered my pictures, they only had ACU's no dress blues, platoon picture, picture CD with 500 pictures, yearbook, and DVD. I got letters!!!! 25 of them! :-) I got more then anyone & my DS gave me a bunch of shit because I got a shit load! It waas so nice finally hearing from you! And mom...when I arrived to Basic there was no such thing as treated with respect lol. If you bling wrong they will tear you apart. But that's funny though! And Dad, stay away from cherries! Well I am finally at Basic...This is hell! Yesterday I got on a bus with all the 21B's and our DS. He told us to put our heads in our bags so we wouldn't see where we were going. When we got here we had to get off the bus really fast. There were like 8 DS's screaming at everybody. It is called the shark attack because multiple DS's tear you apart. But I never got yelled at. :-) We had to do a lot of push-ups and drink our big ass canteen of water really fast. After drinking the canteen I felt so full!! Then we ran to another part of the....place lol and some dumbass moved when we were at attention, so we had to do it all over again. I drank the second canteen and puked lol. Then we went into the building and separated our stuff. We had to put all our bags down to go get smoked. When I cam back somebody took my bags! So I had to look for my bags forever! Then everybody showered except me so the DS went to look for my bags. He found them and gave me ten minutes to shower and get out in the hall with everybody else. Then we all got smoked!!

So the first day sucked! Then we went to bed and in the morning the people on fire guard didn't wake everybody up on time so we got smoked. The rest of the day was getting smoked, standing out in the hot ass sun, and getting our chemical suits. Then today we woke up to toe the line and some people were not dressed right so we got smoked. Then we went to formation and some dumbass wasn't in formation. The DS called for him and no reply. So two soldiers went to look for him. Then we figured out that his dumbass was in the formation right next to us in the wrong platoon. So he got yelled at for not responding when the DS called him, and when we got smoked we had to thank him for every push-up! I WANT TO KISS HIS ASS!!! Mom, it was so nice talking to you! It made me so much happier! I'm kinda glad I didn't talk to Marlana because I would have cried lol. I enjoy hearing about the wedding plans. It gives me inspiration to get through this which I need so much. It is very hard to get the time to write so I will try as often as possible! KEEP SENDING LETTERS/START lol. I love you all so much and can't wait to see you all. So, Basic sucks ass lol. It's super hot all the time. Today it was raining & there was thunder and lightening..and it was still hot as hell! There are a lot of dumbass people that always screw up. But anyways we got our rifles today. M16AZ...pretty cool. They suck though because now when we get smoked we have to do shit with the weight of them. When we get smoked we pretty much do shit until we are about to puke. I have a PT test tomorrow. :-( I hate it here because I have no time to write. If I got caught writing right now I would be screwed! But it's worth it! Well Sunday's are supposed to be personal days...not so much. We woke up at 4:30, got smoked, went to formation for chow, somebody got caught with earrings so we got smoked, then some dumbass fat body who always gets us in trouble rolled his eyes at the DS, so we really got smoked, went to chow and somebody didn't put their feet together while eating so after chow we got smoked again. Now we are supposed to be cleaning. I'm gonna get caught writing and get smoked but I don't care lol. The DS's are trying to break people down so they don't give us time to write. They say family doesn't matter right now and all girlfriends will leave you to screw your best friend. I think it's funny lol. They can't break me. They can only smoke me and teach me. I'm waiting to go to church. It's at like 1700 (5pm) pretty late. I want to go chill and probably write letters. I really want to start doing fun stuff because right now this sucks! I'm hoping the DS's chill out soon and stop being dicks lol. I haven't really been doing much though, getting smoked, going to class to learn about sexual harassment and shit. Got my M16, learned to take it apart, clean, get smoked some more. That's pretty much it. I can't wait to come back and get married! I think about it all the time. I need new pics because I had to main ones I like in my pocket and I sweat so much it like melted most the picture. Everybody here is very southern though. They all think it's funny that I like cold weather lol. You will all trip out when you get here. Expecially if it's this hot lol. So I'm in church right now. There are a lot of soldiers here. The priest is telling everybody to become a priest because their arn't a lot and the ARMY wil take you for a priest until your 70 lol. It's pretty hard to write a letter when you always have to stand, kneel, sit ha ha. I'm excited to drink some wine and eat the bread thing though. I always thought they were good. Me and a BB (battle buddy) came to the back of the room so we could write letters. I really hope this starts going by faster because lately it hasn't. I'm just hoping that when we start doing fun stuff time will fly by. There is this stuff for blisters that covers them so they don't get hurt but I have to go to sick call & I don't want to because the DS saw my foot and puss was coming out of where my boots rubbed my skin off. :-( I guess we have boyonette training tomorrow then combatives training. As well as an obstacle on Friday. Thank God we get to do something! So how is everyone doing? How is my dog? What's the weather like? So Brows...the guy with weird eyebrows is one of my battle buddies & his bunk is right next to mine and my other battle buddies. There are bunk beds by the way lol. Anyway his name is Jarral, he's pretty cool. Big time southern. Everybody is finally starting to get along and work as a team which is good & helpful! And blisters suck! The only thing I can do about them is go to sick call but if I do that I will be on profile and will get a hold over after basic. So I just have to deal with it. My boots rubbed the skin on the backs f my heals off to where there is just red sore skin. And it wraps around my heals. But there is nothing I can do about it. I just have to work through the pain and get this crap done! Put this on my blog...If you go to basic, don't try to get out. The fastest way through is to graduate no matter what you do! That is very true! I realy hope I get letters soon. They will really make me happy. OH and dad, I got ESS eye protection...I think they suck because I have to wear them at all times but they are nice, they have sunglass lenses also but we can't wear them. I will try to get you a pair of them. Well I'm gonna write other letters and I will write more if I have time. I love you all and can't wait to see you!

So yesterday we did our bayonnet training. It was pretty fun. We had to march to the range which is like a mile away with about 70lbs of gear...and it was hot as HELL! We learned all the different attack ways and practiced on dummy things made of tire. After learning how to use the bayonnet we had to run through an obstacle with dummys posted and we had to act like we were in combat. It was fun but the heat really sucks. I sweat so much I get sweat bumps which look like thousands of little bug bites everywhere. After the obstacle we got smoked because of dumb people. Then we marched even farther with our gear to chow. After chow I went to sick call and got mole skin which is for blisters & muscle rub. :-) After sick call we did pugils...beating people with giant q-tips. Sadly I had to go against a little short guy...well sadly for him lol. I hit him once and his glove flew off and missed the DS's face by maybe two inches. Then I jacked him up and made him fall over. It was a great way to get aggression out! Then today it rained a lot. It rains really hard here like Washington but it's still hot and there is always a lot of thunder and lightening. Marlana would love it here! But I don't like the heat lol. But today all we have done is PT and classes...we haven't even been smoked!!! It's crazy. Now we are supposed to be cleaning...I'm good! I let everyone else do it ha ha. So I gues Echo Company is the hardest basic. It's the only one that doesn't give soldiers their phones on the weekends! GAY! Why do I get stuck with the hard one lol. I have gotten a lot stronger already. I can see a difference big time. It's weird that I haven't gained weight. I eat a lot. CRAZY! I'm hoping I get mail soon. That would be awesome. I think I get a 2 hour pass the Sunday to go to te PX but I am going to just talk to you all. I really want to talk to Marlana! I miss her :-( But 13 weeks to go! then I will see ou all and come home with you :-). I am so excited for that. Last night I did laundry and washed my bible! I am pissed about that. And I had to say it but church sucks here! It's not the same. So I would rather go and write letters! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ LETTERS!!! So exciting! It sucks being out of the loop! Actually it sucks being alone! But I knew it would. I knew that when I joined & when I left. I'm just glad I can finally help Marlana out with the bills! I'm so happy she won't have to stress anymore. So for that it is totally worth it! Cause really they can put me through hell and back as long as Marlana is happy! We just learned how to port arms which is a nice looking way of making sure the weapon is clear. A lot of people suck at it and I don't know how. I got it right away and the DS used me as an example. :-) We had to think of a motto for when we are called to attention and my battle buddy Hyson & I came up with, Real knights kill with cold hard steel...cause our platoon is the knights. The DS liked it so that is our platoon moto. It's crazy it was raining super bad this morning and now it's super hot. :-( I hate the heat...well this heat. Even if your just standing in the shade you will sweat. It sucks. My abbs are killing me right now! Yesterday we got smoked so bad that they haven't smoked us at all tonight and it's already 1930 (7:30 for you civilians ha ha). Jarrel (Brows) is funny as hell. He can't figure the rifle inspection out so he's all pissed off. Sucks for him lol. Everybody is telling jokes trying to pass time. I'm just making fun of everybody who tells a stupid joke. I'll tell you one without using names. Three guys are walking throught the forest and split off onto 3 paths. #1 soldier gets to a stand that says get your dick sucked for $5. #2 gets to a stand that says get your dick sucked for $10. They all meet up after and #1 says I got my dick sucked for $5. #2 says I got my dick sucked for $10. #3 says I made $15 today! lol It's a good way to pick on the #3 person if you use their names. So everybody was chilling and someone yelled Toe the Line! So we all through our shit in our lockers and ran out there. Then some asshole started laughing and said he was kidding the DS isn't even up here! ASSHOLE!!! Well I'm gonna get my laundry folded and I hope I get some mail tonight! I love you all so much!!! They suck though because now when we get smoked we have to do shit with the weight of them. When we get smoked we pretty much do shit until we are about to puke. Well Sunday's are supposed to be personal days...not so much. We woke up at 4:30, got smoked, went to formation for chow, somebody got caught with earrings so we got smoked, then some dumbass fat body who always gets us in trouble rolled his eyes at the DS, so we really got smoked, went to chow and somebody didn't put their feet together while eating so after chow we got smoked again. Now we are supposed to be cleaning. I'm gonna get caught writing and get smoked but I don't care lol. The DS's are trying to break people down so they don't give us time to write. They say family doesn't matter right now and all girlfriends will leave you to screw your best friend. I think it's funny lol. They can't break me. They can only smoke me and teach me. I'm waiting to go to church. It's at like 1700 (5pm) pretty late. I want to go chill and probably write letters. I really want to start doing fun stuff because right now this sucks! I'm hoping the DS's chill out soon and stop being dicks lol. I haven't really been doing much though, getting smoked, going to class to learn about sexual harassment and shit. Got my M16, learned to take it apart, clean, get smoked some more. That's pretty much it. I can't wait to come back and get married! I think about it all the time. I need new pics because I had to main ones I like in my pocket and I sweat so much it like melted most the picture. Everybody here is very southern though. They all think it's funny that I like cold weather lol. You will all trip out when you get here. Expecially if it's this hot lol. So I'm in church right now. There are a lot of soldiers here. The priest is telling everybody to become a priest because their arn't a lot and the ARMY wil take you for a priest until your 70 lol. It's pretty hard to write a letter when you always have to stand, kneel, sit ha ha. I'm excited to drink some wine and eat the bread thing though. I always thought they were good. Me and a BB (battle buddy) came to the back of the room so we could write letters. I really hope this starts going by faster because lately it hasn't. I'm just hoping that when we start doing fun stuff time will fly by. There is this stuff for blisters that covers them so they don't get hurt but I have to go to sick call & I don't want to because the DS saw my foot and puss was coming out of where my boots rubbed my skin off. :-( I guess we have boyonette training tomorrow then combatives training. As well as an obstacle on Friday. Thank God we get to do something! So how is everyone doing? How is my dog? What's the weather like? So Brows...the guy with weird eyebrows is one of my battle buddies & his bunk is right next to mine and my other battle buddies. There are bunk beds by the way lol. Anyway his name is Jarral, he's pretty cool. Big time southern. Everybody is finally starting to get along and work as a team which is good & helpful! And blisters suck! The only thing I can do about them is go to sick call but if I do that I will be on profile and will get a hold over after basic. So I just have to deal with it. My boots rubbed the skin on the backs f my heals off to where there is just red sore skin. And it wraps around my heals. But there is nothing I can do about it. I just have to work through the pain and get this crap done! Put this on my blog...If you go to basic, don't try to get out. The fastest way through is to graduate no matter what you do! That is very true! I realy hope I get letters soon. They will really make me happy. OH and dad, I got ESS eye protection...I think they suck because I have to wear them at all times but they are nice, they have sunglass lenses also but we can't wear them. So yesterday we did our bayonnet training. It was pretty fun. We had to march to the range which is like a mile away with about 70lbs of gear...and it was hot as HELL! We learned all the different attack ways and practiced on dummy things made of tire. After learning how to use the bayonnet we had to run through an obstacle with dummys posted and we had to act like we were in combat. It was fun but the heat really sucks. I sweat so much I get sweat bumps which look like thousands of little bug bites everywhere. After the obstacle we got smoked because of dumb people. Then we marched even farther with our gear to chow. After chow I went to sick call and got mole skin which is for blisters & muscle rub. :-) After sick call we did pugils...beating people with giant q-tips. Sadly I had to go against a little short guy...well sadly for him lol. I hit him once and his glove flew off and missed the DS's face by maybe two inches. Then I jacked him up and made him fall over. It was a great way to get aggression out! Then today it rained a lot. It rains really hard here like Washington but it's still hot and there is always a lot of thunder and lightening. Marlana would love it here! But I don't like the heat lol. But today all we have done is PT and classes...we haven't even been smoked!!! It's crazy. Now we are supposed to be cleaning...I'm good! I let everyone else do it ha ha. So I gues Echo Company is the hardest basic. It's the only one that doesn't give soldiers their phones on the weekends! GAY! Why do I get stuck with the hard one lol. I have gotten a lot stronger already. I can see a difference big time. It's weird that I haven't gained weight. I eat a lot. CRAZY! I'm hoping I get mail soon. That would be awesome. I think I get a 2 hour pass the Sunday to go to te PX but I am going to just talk to you all. I really want to talk to Marlana! I miss her :-( But 13 weeks to go! then I will see ou all and come home with you :-). I am so excited for that. Last night I did laundry and washed my bible! I am pissed about that. And I had to say it but church sucks here! It's not the same. So I would rather go and write letters! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ LETTERS!!! So exciting! It sucks being out of the loop! We just learned how to port arms which is a nice looking way of making sure the weapon is clear. A lot of people suck at it and I don't know how. I got it right away and the DS used me as an example. :-) We had to think of a motto for when we are called to attention and my battle buddy Hyson & I came up with, Real knights kill with cold hard steel...cause our platoon is the knights. The DS liked it so that is our platoon moto. It's crazy it was raining super bad this morning and now it's super hot. :-( I hate the heat...well this heat. Three guys are walking throught the forest and split off onto 3 paths. #1 soldier gets to a stand that says get your dick sucked for $5. #2 gets to a stand that says get your dick sucked for $10. They all meet up after and #1 says I got my dick sucked for $5. #2 says I got my dick sucked for $10. #3 says I made $15 today! lol It's a good way to pick on the #3 person if you use their names. So everybody was chilling and someone yelled Toe the Line! So we all through our shit in our lockers and ran out there. I'm gonna have to make this one kinda short. So today I got my ACU's! Finally! Got my hearing checked, got a mouth guard, got my military pictures. Then I stood at attention a lot and sat on a bench/benches with a bunch of dudes, and was bored as hell! I was supposed to get my shots but they closed so I have to get them tomorrow. Tomorrow I will get my military ID, dog tags, shots, and do more boring shit. I really want to get to Basic aka... HELL! Because I know time will fly and I won't be bored. Today I found out that as a 21B I carry a M4 MWS. Look it up, it's bad ass!! Only 21B & MP's get them! ACU's suck but it's way better than PT's, short shorts! And I can carry pictures cause I have pockets now. :-) Oh ya, I got ear plugs today also. But all in all today was gay because the DS must not have gotten laid last night because today they were extra extra ASSHOLES!! I'm so glad I got ear plugs cause now I can sleep with these loud faggots talking all night! Well I'm tired as hell so I'm going to bed, it's 2200. Love you all & can't wait to see you.

Today has been pretty shitty! The only good thing is I found out my platoon for basic is Echo 35 which is the easiest basic for 21B. But still hard! This morning the DS's said people leaving for basic today and people who got here yesterday get up and everybody else go to bed. So we did. Then 30 minutes later they said WTF! Why aren't you all up? You have 1 minute! So we were all late and got smoked for it. So they screwed us. lol We went to chow then to the main foyer...a big room with bench's where we always are. Sat there forever waiting for PAP's which is when you get all your paperwork figured out. I found out that I get a $15K sign-up bonus and my DEP went to my GI Bill/College Fund. So instead of having $52K for my GI Bill I now have $80K. So, I waited in line to get an x-ray from dental forever! When I got to the door the DS made me and other soldiers leave to go get our shots. I walked down the line where there were these two ladies on both sides. First stop I got one shot and the second stop I got two. So not to bad. They didn't hurt until after I got them. Then theh penicillin the the butt shot! Which I have heard is the worst! We went in and they handed everybody a shot with thick white shit in it and it was cold. I had to warm it up because it hurts really bad if its cold. So I kept squeezing it in both hands until it got warm. Then we had to pull our shirts over our heads, bend over and wait for them to come give the shot. It was the worst shot I have ever had! Then I got a pail because I was going to puke so I had to sit against the wall. Two guys talked so they had to sit in invisible chairs (squat) until I felt better. When I felt better they made me stay down so the guys would have to stay squatting. The shot didn't hurt but when they injected the penicillin it did! Then after it hurt like hell, it still hurts! And it's 2200. Then I got back in line for the x-ray, when I got the front almost to the x-ray, the DS made us leave again to go to chow. So I was pissed & my butt hurt. lol. So I ate chow then went back to the x-ray. The line was twice as long as the first two times which pissed me off. So I waited, standing there without talking or at least 2 hours! I finally got in the door and got two people behind getting the x-ray, I had the jacket thing on and everything! And they said they were FUCKING CLOSING!!! So I have to go back and do that shit in the morning! So then I went to the main foyer, got my dog tags which you can barely read, and my military ID which says I'm an E-1!! Then some asshole kept talking so everybody had to stand at attention, hold our soldiers handbooks far over our heads and read them for almost an hour. My arms felt like they were gonna fall off. After that we went to chow. After chow we got our cell phones back but they are in an envelope and if we open them we get some punishment under the UCMJ and have to stay at this hellhole for 45 days! So I'm writing! lol Then we got in our platoons for Basic so we know who we are going with and went to the barracks to pack our shit. Which is a lot! After packing we had a hydration formation and then had to go to bed. But as I was writing this letter some assholes were screwing around instead of sleeping and the DS came in. So we got smoked!! I hate some of these mother fuckers. lol But that's it. :-) Some people got letters today!! I didn't know we could...but it's ok I only have one more day left of processing so I'm not worried about it. I'm really excited to get out of here and go to hell. lol Then I can start counting down the days till I see you! I can't wait! When I give you my address I need more pictures! But I love you all so much and pray for you all every night! I'll write more tomorrow hopefully! I really don't know how the day will turn out. Love you all, Sean

Today was very boring! It is a holiday tomorrow so there is no processing today! Yay! Wrong! We woke up, got in formation then went to chow. I had eggs and sausage. It was nasty as hell but I added them together and added syrup and its was....I guess ok. After chow we went to the main part of the building and sat on benches, four to a bench...ass crack to ass crack! Then the Drill Sergeant answered questions we had about anything and talked about some other shit. Then we got to watch the movie 300 which was tight. After the movie we had to study our soldiers handbook. We did that without talking (or we would get in trouble) until lunch, 12:15. I had fish, rice and chocolate milk. After lunch we went back to the room and sat on the benches. We studied the soldiers handbook MORE! Then we got bitched at somemore for talking. The DS told us a story called the soldier and the professor. A soldier who served in the Army went to college. An athiest professor came in and said if there is a god he will knock me off this podium in 15 minutes. The class waited and 14 minutes later the soldier walked up and knocked the teacher out. When the teacher woke up he said "What the hell is your problem?!" The soldier said "God is too busy protecting soldiers fighting for freedom for unbelieving assholes like you!" I thought that was funny. After that we studied the handbook more until 17:30. Forever! Then ate pizza (not the best), noodles, corn and salad for dinner. Then went to the barracks. We had to get in formation again to hydrate which was stupid! And somebody spit on the ground so the DS made him pick it up and put it in the grass...HA HA Dumb Ass!!! Then I took a shower and started writing letters, which is now. Anyways, I miss you all a lot. Time goes by so slow here. And it's freaking humid as hell! I can't wait to finish this crap so I can come home and see you all and my other half. :-) I have to wear spandex underwear now and for PT tests because if my dick falls out while I'm doing sit-ups and a female see's I can get chaptered out! Retarded! Males have to stay at least 5 feet away from females and if we talk we get in trouble because it could be flirting. But I don't care cause there is only one girl I want to flirt with! I hope tomorrow doesn't suck. I know we are waking up and doing PT. Probably wake up at 0500. I am excited to watch fireworks tomorrow. There are so many firework places around base. There was a store that said the biggest firework store in the US and it was an actual store. And it was huge! It's kinda hard to write with my flashlight cause there is nowhere to hang it. I am so glad I brought pictures! They keep me sane. Fuck...I just found out I have fireguard from 2300-2400. That means maybe five hours of sleep! Dad, I now know how you feel. LOL. The DS's here are dicks or complete bitches. There is a corporal who was a dick at first but now he is tight. He tells everybody the tricks to not get into trouble. I have only got yelled at once and that was the first day. And she was a bitch! Two girls got in trouble today and one mouthed off to the female DS...Bad idea! But it was funny watching them get smoked for 20 minutes! Like...BAD! They had to do so many push-ups and if they made any noise they had to start ver. Including breathing hard! Ha Ha! Well I am going to go cause I have fire guard :-( I'll write you tomorrow and give you the details. Love you all and pet my weiner for me :-) .

So today we woke up, went to chow, then went and did PT. After PT we went and showered, then got to watch movies. We watched Braveheart and some of Independance Day. It was a long ass time to sit there and not talk. After the movies and eating chow we went to the fireworks show. It was really cool because we actually had freedom for two hours. I ate food and a icy drink thing and a AMP! :-) The fireworks were crazy! But there are these bugs called chiggers which are super tiny and they dig in your skin and live in it...they itch like a mother fucker! It's weird here because there is grass but the dirt is like a dry lake bed. And the grass is like the raxor grass on the beach. Oh and there's lightening bugs!! They are awesome! Well I feel like bitching right now so, I got a bloody nose in the shower, got smoked because dumb ass people don't know the meaning of shut the fuck up, and it's 0004 (1:04 AM) and the lights are on because somebody stole someones flash light and they are pissed off, walking around looking for it...and I have TP in my nose cause it won't stop bleeding. Well I'm going to bed cause I'm tired so I will write tomorrow. Oh ya, and everybody I talked to today said I'm screwed because basic for 21B is hard as hell. But I love you all so much and can't wait to see you all.

Well we did get smoked once because we had an inspection and everybody was fucking around, and some dumb ass called the company commander a captain after she was done yelling at him for moving around at attention. Not so good! And our bay leader was sleeping when they came in and the DS woke him up, screaming at him. So now we have a new one. lol Tomorrow we have to get our shots! A penicillin shot in the butt. And the weird guy next to me is allergic to penicillin so they are gonna give him a supository! HA HA! A lubed big ass pill up the butt! There is a guy here with three fingers! Crazy that they let him into the Army. And there's a guy with eyebrows that are weird as hell. Since he is bald he looks funny. But he hates me. I call him "brows" and laugh like hell when I see him. I can't even help it he's just so funny looking! I would pluck that shit! I hope I get my ACU's tomorrow because I'm tired of PT's, the suck and I look dumb. lol We have to get up at a quarter to five tomorrow. We have a lot of stuff to do. Hi Everyone,
As I get Sean's letters I'll type them in exactly as he wrote them so you get the full effect. I will tell you beforehand that I will make minor editing critiques, such as fixing spelling, etc. I will also not write anything that Sean specifically indicates as personal. That being said, you'll notice the title is the date I'm entering the information. Each letter will begin with the date he wrote the letter. Thank you all for supporting Sean as he goes through Basic & AIT. As soon as I get his address I'll put it in here for you. Please write him letters!!! That's his only contact with anyone so those letters are truly appreciated by him as well as us. So, here goes...

Well I was going to write yesterday but there was no way i would have the time. On the bus I sat in the very back next to the shitter which sucked at first, but ended up being way fun! The dorr to the bathroom was supposed to have a handle but it was taken off. Since there wasn't a handle you just had to push the door for it to open. It even said it in BIG letters on the door. But everybody was to damn dumb to figure that out so they wuld ask me how to open it. DUMB ASS'S!!! So I would say pull and laugh when it didn't work. Then I formed a toilet paper roll into a handle and everybody would try to turn it to open the door. Once again....DUMB ASS's!!! Anyway some kid was nervous and kept pucking. As we pulled into the base he puked all over the floor. Which freakin stunk!! We drove to the processing center and a female drill sergeant came out and said...Congratulations for joining the Army. You're an adult now and you will be treated so. Then she started walking to the back of the bus and right before the puke everybody yelled...and she stept right into it! The she looked at the kid and said.. What the fuck is that shit!!! Fuckin private you're not gonna make it. Now everybody get the FUCK off this bus NOW! So we did. Then we went inside and sat there to get bitched at. I put one foot over the other so she made me do hella push-ups! Fucking gay! Then we went through the stuff we brought and she threw my allergy medicine and neosporin crap away. Then got PT clothes and some other crap, took a shower and got to bed at about 2230 (10:30). Then other people showed up and they turned the lights back on right as I fell asleep! Bastards! We woke up at 0500, stood in formation, then went to chow. Which was nasty as hell. Then we stood for a while and got yelled at, got military ID, shaved my head, got money for shit I need, got eyes and feet checked, then gt my blood drawn and some other shot. It didn't hurt at all and I was doing good until I looked at the guy spread my blood on a test thing. I was trying so hard to be ok then he gave me the other shot in my forearm. After he was done I looked and te shot turned into a fat nasty bump on my arm. Which was all it took! I guess I turned green and I said I didn't feel god so he made me smell a smelling stick thing (used when people pass out) twice hoping that it would make me puke. But I didn't. So they made me lay on the ground with my feet on a trash can next to the fan. It was so hot that I acted like I was stil sick so I could stay by the fan. :-) Then we had to get briefed for a long ass time which sucked, bought our shit, got in formation in the fucking sun :-( , then went to the barracks...which is now. Oh ya, and I went to chow 3 times, lunch and dinner were good. But I got to call today after formation but mom didn't asnwer :-( nice job. LOL And that was all the time I got. Share this letter because I really don't want to write a lot right now. lol But processing isn't to bad....boring as fuck!! Love you all so much and can't wait to see you. Love, Sean P.S. I start Basic on Wednesday and Saturday I get to watch fireworks. :-)
